Hey. I was wondering if any totally blind people have done marching band in the past, and how you guys formed the shapes on the field with the others. I know I will find a way to do it, but I was wondering if anyone had anys uggestions. Whe marching in parades and what not, I use ropes and it works out well, but for the shapes I wasn't sure.

well my band teacher was such a loser that even marching in a line across the field he didn't thyink we could do, not thyat he even had ideas to try so it seemed weird going to band class for part of the year but then again i swear he came to class and games where we played, drunk or he had some wicked cologne heheh
anyway i guess to make it short, i have no clue

lol. okay. thanks. i'm sure it will work out. i hate it when teachers aren't willing to try to make modifications.

When I did marching band, the director made sure I was in the middle of the line, and we'd mess up the spacing in that line a little and the people on either side of me would bump elbows with me periodically, as kind of a guide. I'm not sure if this would work for the shapes, though...
